The “Antenna” interface is the second media component to the “youGuide” system. Once a member has signed in, the mobile interface could be installed on a supported personal mobile phone. There are two main modes - Post and Scan. The former allows one to take picture of a place, assign geo coordinates and enter information such as name, like/dislike, reason and category. An annotation could be added to the just-created place or an already existing one. If an already established place in the system is detected, one could post one’s own version of relevant system information.
In a Scan mode, a member could evoke a location sensitive map and display all of the places registered by the system within the vicinity if the “Antenna” interface. Individual place information - name, accumulative ratings, category and annotations could be accessed through the interface. All places have members associated with them. The mobile interface could indicate who is nearby and allow for spontaneous messaging and even meet-ups.
