The scholastic corporation decided to convert several of its 4-5th grade books: “Where do you think you are going Christopher Columbus?”, “Shh. We are writing the constitution.”, “What’s the big Idea Ben Franklin?”, into interactive CDs. In addition the stories of the text, the CDs included interactive games to enhance the learning experience. In addition to using some of the original art, I developed series of game environments for all of the titles. During the creation process, some elements had to be researched and imagined as they had no existing visual reference.
